Your Points are allocated on your Anniversary date as per your Agreement. This date is one
year after your first instalment was due. Should you be unsure of this date, you can contact
our Member Services Department who will look it up for you.
Although your Points are contractually only allocated on your Anniversary date, you do have
the option to use your Points within the first year of your Membership, provided that
your Membership and Reservation fees are settled.
Using your Points during your first year of Membership
Once your Membership is processed, you may want to use your Points in your first year
of Membership, or you may prefer to rather wait for the next year's Points allocation. If you
choose to use your Points in your first year, please contact the Collections Department.
They will assist you with the necessary fees and activate your Membership upon payment.
If we do not hear from you, your Points will only be allocated on your first Anniversary date.
THC GO! Members have unique benefits during the first year, which you can read about here.
Save your Points for more holidays
Did you know that you can save your Points to access more holiday options? Maybe you want
a longer holiday or you want to book a resort in-season that would normally have a higher
Points value. You can also save your Points to go on a dream overseas vacation!
Points not used in a particular year are automatically banked for use in the following year.
Remember, Points do expire after three years so you need to keep an eye on that!
By the end of the third year, you must have used at least the first year's Points otherwise
you will forfeit these Points.
Remember, Points can only be banked or used if all your accounts are up to date.
Borrowing Points in advance
To accumulate even more Points for that special holiday, Points can be used two years in
advance, provided you pay the estimate annual Membership and Reservation Fees.
This can be done either via the Call Centre, or upon making a booking online.
To borrow Points in advance online, you will need to follow the normal online booking process.
After you have added your preferred reservation to your basket, our system will indicate the
fees for these borrowed Points (provided that they do not exceed a maximum of 2 years'
worth of Points).
Additionally, if you click on 'My Profile' > 'My Points' you will see how many Points you
can borrow.
As an example, a Member retaining 20 Points a year could save towards a big, 100 Point
dream holiday, simply by using all the accumulated, current and future Points at their
disposal, such as illustrated in the table below.
