How do I transfer my Points?



Thinking about selling or giving your Points to someone else? No problem - you’re free to
sell or transfer your Points to anyone you choose, as long as they agree to take them over.

We’ve made the process simple. Just follow the steps below to get started:


Step 1: Submit the Transferee's Details

Please send us the following information:

  • If the Transferee is an Individual:
    - Title
    - Full Name and Surname
    - Identity Number
    - Postal Address
  • If the Transferee is a Company, Trust or Partnership:
    - Corporate Name
    - Company Registration Number
  • If the Transfer is from a Deceased Estate: 
    - Notice of Death
    - Death Certificate
    - Letter of Executorship
    - Certified copy of the deceased's ID


Step 2: Transfer Process

1. We will prepare all the transfer documents for you, including completing the
    official ‘Transfer of Ownership’ form and calculating any applicable fees 
    (including any 'other' amounts due under your membership agreement).


2. You’ll receive the documents for review and signature. Please:
    - Date, sign, and have them witnessed. 
    - Initial each page where marked with the circled ‘INI’. 
    - Include a certified copy of the transferee’s ID. 
    - If the transferee is a company, submit the applicable resolution authorising
      the transfer.

  • Once we issue the documents, your membership will be frozen for 14 days
    while the agreement is finalised.
  • During this time:
        - No bookings can be made 
        - No additional fees will be charged 
        - If the transfer falls through, please notify us so we can unfreeze your membership. 
        - Please note: The transfer fee remains due, as this covers our cost to prepare the
          documentation. 
  • Ensure all required documentation is returned, and all outstanding amounts are paid.
  • Email everything to: transfers@theholidayclub.co.za 


Step 3: Fees

  • Transfer Fee: R1999
    - Raised when we are requested to prepare the documentation for you.
    - May be waived if transferring to a family member (a certified affidavit is required). 
  • iExchange Fee: R2950 (payable by the new owner).
  • Other Membership Fees: Any additional or outstanding fees noted in your agreement (as completed by us)must also be settled before the transfer can be finalised.

How long does it take?

Transfers are usually completed within 5 working days, once all documents and payments
have been received. Both you and the new owner will receive confirmation when the 
process is complete. 

Additional Notes 

  • All confirmed bookings on the current membership will be honoured. 
  • Unused Points from past years will carry over, provided they haven’t expired. 
  • Original expiry dates remain unchanged after transfer.
